Yeringberg Marsanne Roussanne 2012
Old now… but still kicking. This is not the easiest wine to find, and i’m pretty sure its the most expensive expression of Marsanne and Roussane in the valley. As an example of white Rhone field blend it excels. The apple acidity is starting to mellow, the herbaceous character is becoming a little more pronounced. The weight on the palate is broadening, the faintest hints of musk and aldehyde are adding complexity.
