Tania Chanter

Tania came to painting later in life. Her early working-life included ten years at The Age newspaper. fifteen years for online companies, and currently a Director of Red Bilby, a Graphic Design Studio. She began painting in her early fourties after a school holiday activity with her sons. She discovered she loved it and once the flame was ignited there was no stopping her. Painting has become a daily obsession.

Tania’s current work focuses on landscapes inspired by her love of the natural world and by the ever changing effects of the elements on the environment. Whether it’s a field of wildflowers swaying in the wind or a thunderous storm ravaging the costline, her aim is to capture the atmosphere and communicate her feelings.
