Denise Smith is a local artist with a passion for wildlife, her artwork is highly realistic detailed artworks capture the essence of the animals she is inspired by, solidified over ten years of volunteering at Healesville Sanctuary.
Denise’s pieces created using pastel, acrylic, ink, and watercolour, aims to capture the beauty and spirit of endangered and threatened species in Australia and beyond, emphasizing the urgent need for their protection.
Each piece encourages viewers to connect with the wild world and consider their role in conservation.
