Bloody Hill Pinot Noir is a gentler version of the variety, with Timo’ son Rivar Mayer-Ferguson now looking after all the winemaking. This fruit from a maddening slope in the Coldstream sub-region of the Yarra Valley is fully destemmed, naturally fermented and aged in old oak puncheons for only six months. It’s a softer, more fruit-driven style of Pinot Noir from younger vine fruit. Only small quantities made.
